**To remove a tag from a resource**

The following ``untag-resources`` example removes the specified tag keys and associated values from a resource. ::

    aws resourcegroupstaggingapi untag-resources \
        --resource-arn-list arn:aws:s3:::awsexamplebucket \
        --tag-keys Environment,CostCenter

Output::

    {
        "FailedResourcesMap": {}
    }
